What we do
Vandokem Chemical Enterprises provides process design, engineering, plant maintenance and project management services to all processing industries in South Africa and Internationally.
When we began
Formed in 1992 by Piet van Dongen, a chemical engineer who has over 30-years experience in the chemical process industry; Vandokem Chemical Enterprises was registered in 1995 and is today; a well established, privately owned, independent company, known for its process engineering abilities, with a track record of successful project implementations.
Our Philosophy
Intuitive research, thorough and rigorous design, specification of appropriate equipment best suited for purpose, coupled with efficient project implementation and a large resource base; are our foundation stones in all business engagements. This is how we ensure a consistently high level of project integrity and quality.
Who we are
We are an innovative company with a wealth of experience and a resource base of chemical, civil, mechanical, and electrical and automation engineers and technicians; whose depth and diversity of skills allow us to undertake regular, specialised and complex projects of small and large magnitude, over a wide range of industries, (R20 thousand to R25 million) especially those with tight timelines or requiring Turnkey accountability for fulfilment.
We continually strive in the pursuit of increasing our knowledge, continuous improvement and excellence in our work. A compact company with a variety of excellent, experienced role players allows us to be very cost efficient yet focussed on providing the best service catered specifically to our Clients’ needs.
